Why We Built This Site
Kansas gives the public broad access to many court and government records, but the correct Seward County office depends on the record. District Court handles civil, criminal, domestic, probate, traffic, marriage-license, small-claims, and jury matters. Liberal Municipal Court handles city traffic, misdemeanor traffic, municipal criminal, and Liberal City Code cases. The Sheriff's Office handles jail, custody, bond, and law-enforcement records. The County Clerk handles county administrative open records, elections, and commission materials.
What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Kansas court, Seward County office, sheriff's office, clerk's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or submit records requests for you.
- We cannot issue certified copies of court documents or vital records.
- We cannot give legal advice or interpret a specific case for you.
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, officeholder, or address is current at the moment you use it.
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those providers set their own pricing and operate their own services. When a visitor uses one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. That does not make any third-party result an official Seward County or Kansas court record.
